Established by the Edo State Government, we are entrusted with the responsibility of regulating, supervising, and guiding real estate development to ensure compliance with relevant laws, standards, and best practices.
ESDPC was created in 1969 by the laws of Bendel State Edit No 3 of 1969 and amended by Edit 11 of 1979. Bendel Development and Property Authority (as it was then known) has its Mandate as the Real Estate Arm of the State and exercises this through the Planning,development,acquisition and sales of landed properties

Regulation: We establish and enforce regulations, standards, and guidelines for real estate development to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with legal requirements.
Supervision: We oversee real estate projects, monitoring their progress and ensuring adherence to approved plans and regulations.
Guidance: We provide guidance and support to developers, investors, and other stakeholders, promoting best practices and facilitating responsible development.
